Vienna Restaurant Week Makes a Comeback with 40 Dining Spots

In just a few days, the Town of Vienna will launch its annual Restaurant Week.

Over 40 restaurants will feature prix fixe menus, discounts or specials during the event, which begins Friday, March 7. A “festive social event” will be from 4:30-6:30 p.m. that afternoon at the Vienna Town Green, with music, giveaways and complimentary refreshments.

It’s a wonderful opportunity for individuals to patronize their favorite establishments or find a new restaurant or specialty store in Vienna and have the added benefit of supporting the local economy,” Vienna Economic Development Director Nicole Toulouse stated in a statement

This year, 44 local restaurants will take part in a diverse array of different dishes and environments. Featured are both fast-casual and dine-in restaurants, ranging from American to Asian, Indian, Italian fare and more.

Among the additions to the event this year is the Carnegie Diner & Cafe, which made its debut last summer at 501 Maple Avenue West.

A complete list of participating restaurants and their special menus can be found on the event’s website.

The event, now in its fourth year, has long been praised by residents and businesses, the town says.

“Year after year, restaurant owners are reporting an increase in business during Vienna Restaurant Week, and diners sing the praises of Vienna’s extensive offerings,” Toulouse said.

Vienna Restaurant Week is set to continue through March 16.

Returning participants are the high-end restaurant Evelyn Rose, Yemeni café Qamaria Coffee, Contemporary American restaurant Clarity, and Lebanese restaurant Seray

Among returning stalwarts of Vienna Restaurant Week are Tango Pastry, Plaka Grill, and Café de Vienna.

Special highlights include Roberto’s Ristorante Italiano’s $55 dinner special, Caboose Tavern’s three-course dinner for $35, and a $40 prix fixe from Vienna Thai & Bar.
